Alaska Pollock Recertified February 2023

The Alaska pollock (Gadus chalcogrammus) commercial fisheries, under federal [National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS)/North Pacific Fishery Management Council (NPFMC)] and state [Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADFG) & Board of Fisheries (BOF)] management, fished by the directed fishery with pelagic trawl gear [and other gear types (jig, longline, pot, bottom trawl) that can legally land by-caught pollock] within Alaska’s 200 nm EEZ was awarded continued RFM Certification in February 2023.
